Covid-19 Adaptation

Covid-19 has required an immediate response to the change in my project.

1 - Rongohea Te Hau Whanau Survey will be replaced by teacher survey and observation of practice using the Equitable Classroom Practices Checklist. This is a checklist of 27 specific, observable teacher behaviors that reflect culturally responsive teaching through examples. This tool will be used as self-reflection or by an external observer to become more aware of incorporating equitable practices.

2 - Trauma Informed Practice to improve equity will be replaced by Distance Learning/ Isolation Learning to improve equity.
